How Does It Work?
Usually when a home is sold a 5% to 7% commission is paid out by the seller. Typically half of this goes to the Buyer’s Agent and half goes to the Listing Agent.
If you are looking to list your home for sale, and you are going to purchase another home worth the same or greater in value, and you are willing to use me on both transactions, I will offer you a reduced total commission of just 4% on the sale of your home.
We’ll write up a listing agreement at a rate of 4% commission. This will be split between Anne Arundel Properties and the real estate broker working with the Buyers of your current home.
When you purchase your next home, the Sellers of that home will also pay a commission to Anne Arundel Properties as your Buyer’s Agent. Since I will earn a commission on both the sale of your current home and the purchase of your next home, I’m able to save you money when you sell your home.
